This Festival is a unique opportunity to take a trip round the magical world of the cinema. For many young cinemagoers it will definitely be an unusual experience, etched in their memory for a long time. The event is a chance to see valuable phenomena of the world cinematography. I hope that in the future some of the present festival visitors will form a group of eminent and competent film critics, whose opinion will be shaping tastes of the mass audience. The event, which popularises ambitious cinema productions, is now held in high esteem, as is proved by the fact that it was nominated for awards of the Polish Film Institute.

I wish many interesting meetings and discussions to the festival visitors, but most of all, many film screenings after which you will think admiringly: “Ale kino! What a show!"
