Jakub Socha

Born in Stalowa Wola, he lives in Poznań now. A graduate of film studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Awarded the first prize at the Krzysztof Mętrak competition for young film critics. He writes articles for ‘Film’, ‘Gazeta Filmowa’, ‘Kino’ and ‘Stopklatka’. He has also co-authored a book entitled Polskie kino niezależne (Polish Independent Cinema).
