A story of two people whose mutual expectations fail to meet, although they need one another. Teresa tells Tomek about her illness and fear of death, but Tomek does not listen, does not want to believe her, does not care - he has his own pain and his own problem. At first, Teresa wants love, acceptance and a beloved person next to her. At the end, she only wants to make love for the first and perhaps the last time in her life. She wants to feel the physical closeness of the other person. Though he tries to avoid the contact, Tomek needs it deep in his heart. When they fall asleep cuddled up together, they give one another what they really wanted: closeness and acceptance.
