Three teenagers live in the same tough neighbourhood in the southern desert town of Beer-Sheba. Growing up in an unforgiving environment they pin their hopes on football as a way out. Shlomi lives with his widowed mother and a brother who’s in trouble with the law. Adiel, who is of Ethiopian descent, is faced with constant prejudice and has to look after his family. Dima is an immigrant from Russia. He makes a living out of dealing dope. Now, there’s a new chance for them in the shape of the local community centre football team that are practicing for the Beer Sheba open youth championship, held traditionally on Independence Day at the 'Vasermil' stadium.
